POOL'S RULES and BIBLE STUDY

hey you all (: 
Today there were a lot of people at H2O helping us to record  a video about all the pool's rules.
There were people recording, acting, taking pictures, organizing, creating things, etc. 
We all had an amazing time, it was awesome to record and be with you guys.
Thank you Gustavo, Jacob, Felipe, Caique, Vitor Alves, Vitor Alcântara, Nathalia, Andressa, Juliana, Isabella, Luiza and Degenal! 
After recording everything we should there was the bible study in the youth room, near the pool as most of the people were kind of wet haha
Yes, we are still doing bible study every saturdy at 4p.m. and you should not EVER miss it!
As soon as possible you'll see the video and all the making of pictures!

Hoje muitas pessoas foram pro H2O nos ajudar a gravar o vídeo sobre as regras da piscina.
Tinham pessoas filmando, atuando, fotografando, organizando, criando coisas, etc.

Depois de fazermos todas as filmagens o bible study começou na youth room, perto da piscina  já que a maioria das pessoas estavam um pouco molhadas haha
Sim, ainda há bible study todo sábado as 16h e você NUNCA deveria perder!

Open House

Hello guys!!! 

How are you all doing? 

Have you heard about our first party this year? 

It's a party to show the freshmen, and JUST the freshmen, H2O's new "house". 

There'll be a swimming pool, drinks (soft drink and water), nintendo wii, table tennis, fruit, random games, music and the theme of the decoration will be american games!

HOW NICE IS IT ALL? 

You might be thinking "Jesus, that must be expensive, so many things to do, bla bla bla" but NOOOO! It's just R$10 (ten reais) AND you have to take food, doesn't matter if it's salty or not.

The tickets will be for sell from the 10th to the 17th. On the next week from 19th to 22nd the tickets will be R$15 (fifteen reais). 
The party will happen on february 24th, friday!

You'll only get in the party if you show your invitation AND bring a dish with food! 

There you'll be able to pre-order your american football shirt BEFORE anyone else from ETEC! You guys will be the first ones to see our shirt models!!
WILL YOU MISS IT? I would not!

Como estão? 

Já ouviram falar da nossa primeira festa esse ano? 

É uma festa para mostrar aos novatos, e SOMENTE aos novatos, nossa novo sede.

Terá piscina, bebidas (refrigerante e água), nintendo wii, tennis de mesa, frutas, jogos aleatorios, músicas  e o tema da decoração será de jogos americanos!

QUÃO LEGAL É ISSO?

Talvez, você esteja pensando "Jesus, isso deve ser muito caro, tantas coisas pra fazer e blabalbla" mas NÃO!! Custa apenas R$10 (dez reais) E você deve levar um prato de comida salgado ou doce.
Os convites serão vendidos a partir do dia 10 até o 17º. Na semana seguinte de 19 à 22 os convites serão vendidos por R$15 (quinze reais).
A festa será dia 24 de fevereiro, sexta!
Você só entrará na festa caso mostre o convite e traga o prato com comida.
Na festa você poderá reservar sua camisa do american football com o nosso mascote ANTES DE QUALQUER OUTRO ALUNO DA ETEC! Vocês serão os primeiros a ver os nossos modelos de camisa!

English Immersion Program (EIP)

The E.I.P. is part of the Youth Ambassadors Program. The top 100 finalists can participate of the English Immersion Program! It's about immersion in the american culture. This year the students were divided among Brasilia, Recife, Sao Paulo, etc. 

Two of our directors, here, in H2O participated of it and described their experience! They went to Sao Paulo and met another 20 students and Gabriela Tom (2011's youth ambassador). They were at Landmark Residence Hotel in Jardins. 

They've watched a workshop about baseball, visited the american consul and met some Marines from U.S.A.

They've visited the Ibirapuera park, in São Paulo. They had classes at Alumini's school, which is similar to the europeans schools. The classes were about studying in the USA, conversation, video conferences where the consul's workers talked about their professional life, etc.

They went to Abril's theater and watched "Mamma Mia", the play. 

Everyone presented a project to the consul's members. 

It was AWESOME!

O E.I.P. faz parte do Programa de Jovens Embaixadores. Os 100 finalistas do programa podem participar do Programa de Imersão de Inglês! O programa faz a imersão dos alunos na cultura e costumes norte-americanos. Esse ano os finalistas foram divididos entre Brasilia, Recife, São Paulo, etc.

Dois dos nossos diretores, aqui no H2O, participaram do programa e descreveram suas experiências! Foram para São Paulo e conheceram outros 20 alunos e a Gabriela Tom (Jovem embaixadora de 2011).

Ficaram no Hotel Landmark Residence no bairro Jardins.

Assistiram a workshops sobre baseball, visitaram o consulado americano e conheceram oficiais da marinha do E.U.A.

Visitaram o parque ibirapuera, em São Paulo. Assistiram a aulas sobre estudar nos E.U.A, conversação e os funcionários do consulado falaram sobre sua vida profissional via vídeo transferência, entre outras coisas.

Foram ao teatro Abril e assistiram ao musical "Mamma Mia".

Todos os alunos apresentaram projetos aos membros do consulado.
